If you recognize the latecomer as someone who attends meetings regularly, you can just type a short line in Private Chat to welcome them and tell them the topic of the meeting.
To be recognized by the chair, please type an asterisk, "*" It's like raising your hand. And when you are finished sharing, please type "done" or !!!
Please remember to treat this like a face to face meeting, don't type over the person that is sharing. If you need to talk to someone during the meeting, click their name in the member's frame and a new window will open. Also, try to remember to let everyone have a chance to share. Thanks!
To be alerted by a beep when someone logs on to the room, click on the Chat Options icon (at the top left corner of the chat room above the Room Tabs) and then check the "Sound on join" box and the click the Close button.
