Logging On to the Chat Rooms
How to Log On: Before you can log on to your chat rooms, you will need to register your nickname to receive a password. Your password will work with all of our chat rooms.
When you click on the chat room log on page, the chat room Java will begin to load. Depending on your internet connection speed, it can take a few seconds up to a couple of minutes. After the chat road completely loads, you will see a blue screen and a place to type in your registered nickname:  Screenshot of Log On Window, Not Actual Log On Type in your nickname and password then click on Connect. Remember, your password is case sensitive and must be typed exactly as it was registered. For example, if your password is "rosebud" it must be typed in all lowercase. Rosebud or ROSEBUD will not work.  Below the icons at the bottom the chat room screen is the field where you type text that will appear in the chat room. Type your message into the field and send it to the room by hitting the Enter key on your keyboard or the Send button to the right.  At the top of the chat room is a menu bar where you will find the controls for the chat room. If you want to change the size of the text in the chat room, click on the Options menu item, then click on Font Size, for example.
