We have no dues or fees at StepChat.com but we do have expenses. In fact, we probably have more monthly expenses than many face-to-face groups have.

We pay monthly hosting fees for the website and the chat server site, bandwidth usage, fees for professional email form processing (to guarantee our support emails will not be filtered or blocked as spam) and technical support services.

NOTE: Any contributions that we receive in excess of our operating expenses and a small prudent reserve are donated to the world service organizations of the 12-step fellowships whose members meet in our chat rooms.
